Negotiations Fail

In Lapara on August 29, 2017 at 1:03 pm

The head of Lapara Command personally arrived to negotiate with the giant sloth.  Graciously, offering his hand, he asked what was causing the sloths displeasure.

The negotiations appeared smoothly at first.  However, the discussion quickly became heated, and devolved into a shouting match.

Lapara updates 8/25

In Uncategorized, Weekend update on August 25, 2017 at 4:55 pm
  1.  Added a bus layover area, bus stop, and painted a line in the street to separate the running lanes.

2. Since the High-Line Park has become permanent and not seasonal, the Lapara State Building sign has been moved to Railroad Avenue from Lapara Blvd. for better visibility.

3) I noticed that on some graphics cards or settings my concrete pavement clashed with, and didn’t look proper with the other concrete blocks I was using.  Therefore, I redid the frontage roads and tunnel entrance on the yet to be named highway (possibly just an extension of Viaduct Blvd.)

Sloth goes mad on hottest day of year; Major blackouts in Lapara

In Lapara on August 14, 2017 at 12:29 pm

Apparently angered by a combination of the heat, and the hotel having no vacancies, a local sloth went on a rampage in a slow moving whirlwind taking out one of the towns power transformers.

Snapshot_245

The resulting black-out has effected half of the Lapara sim, taking out streetlights, and traffic signals.  Officials are working hard to ease the resulting traffic gridlock during this evenings rush hour.

The chances of fixing this mess looks to be….zero.
